Today we left L.A. heading to San Francisco. We spent the majority of the day on the road. We stopped for lunch in Santa Barbara and later watched the movie Milk, about Harvey Milk, the first openly gay government official. We drove past rolling yellow mountains, a beautiful coast, fading out into the horizon, and when we got to San Francisco, we could see the fog beginning to cover the hills. It was a long trip but it was quickly forgotten when we arrived at the hotel, it’s this really interesting, neat, European style hotel. It was a pretty chill day, and we ended it nicely with a delicious, personally made Chinese food at House of Nan King and a little bit of book shopping at City Lights Bookstore.
