Atlanta

The first day went as smoothly as could be hoped for. Twenty teens flew into Atlanta, and 15 more drove in, and we all gathered in the afternoon to begin the 2023 Etgar 36 Summer journey. 

We got to know each other through some icebreakers planned and run by the staffers and went over our group expectations. Just as we ended, a storm popped up in Atlanta, and the electricity in our building went out. We left to go to dinner at the Chattahoochee Food Works, and when we ran through the rain and into the building to find out their electricity was also out. Without missing a beat and with no drama or complaining,  the group ran back to the bus, and we went to another food hall with electricity. Everyone found something they liked and continued to get to know each other.
